About Dr. Dave Canty
David Canty, DMD is licensed in dental medicine and offers a variety of tooth and gum care to the men, women, and children of Round Lake Beach, Illinois at Rollins Family Dental Center. With a convenient location near Lake Michigan north of Chicago, Dr. Canty provides expertise in oral services and general dentistry for your whole family.
A native of the area, Dr. Canty grew up in Libertyville and attended Libertyville High School before obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree at Truman State University in 2005 and his DMD at Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville in 2010.
Dr. Canty served as the Class President for two years while in dental school and maintains memberships in AGD, CDS, ADA, and ISDS. As a Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Canty is fully licensed and ready to perform at the highest level of general and family dentistry.
Dr. Canty values his family and chose to work alongside his father, Dr. Timothy C. Canty, and his wife Ashley, who is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Marketing Director at Rollins Family Dental Center.
As a compassionate dentist, Dr. Canty is dedicated to helping the families of northeastern Illinois. His patients benefit from his solid foundation of education, field experience, and professional training. He regularly attends continuing education courses and dental conventions to keep up with advancements in the field.
From pediatric dental care to restorative procedures and cosmetic treatments, Dr. Canty practices with an expertly skilled and gentle touch. He believes in treating all patients like his own family members, and it shows through his compassionate care.
Dr. Canty and his wife Ashley adore their children Benjamin, Molly, and Theo as well as spending time with friends and family. When out of the office, Dr. Canty enjoys golf, skeet shooting, talking and watching sports, and trying new cuisines. You can also find him rooting for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers.
